The Delegation of The Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation of The Paris Sciences & Lettres Research University (PSLRU) Visited SJTU-ParisTech
On November 30th, a delegation of 18 people of the School of Entrepreneurship and Innovation of PSLRU (known as, IHEIE), who were also on the second year training program for management led by school dean Cédric Denis-Rémis, visited SJTU-ParisTech. French Dean Joaquim Nassar hosted the meeting. Chinese Dean Yu Jin, Secretary of the Party General Branch, Vice Dean Liu Zenglu and Vice Dean Ma Yixin also attended the meeting. Ms. He Fangyu from the School of Entrepreneurship was also invited to present at the meeting.
French Dean Joaquim Nassar briefly made an introduction about SJTU-ParisTech, from school-industry cooperation, student exchange program, and student education. He emphasized that equipping students with international views and multi-disciplinary skills has always been the key focus of the school. The school also maintains very close relationships with industrial companies. He truly welcomed this visit, and hoped that it could possibly generate more oppotunities in school-industry cooperation.
Ms. He Fangyu from the School of Entrepreneurship gave a presentation, mainly covering the history of the school, its education system, key features, and prospects for the future. After the presentation, she had a discussion with members of the delegation on topics such as giving support to entrepreneurs, providing service to companies, and offering some successful examples.
Then the journey of the delegation team continued to "Bay Zero - Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Area", where they visited the Corporation Bay, the Shanghai Administration Service Center Minhang Branch, and the Innovation Entrepreneurship Base.
CEO of the Corporation Bay, Zhang Zhigang, introduced in details the history of Corporation Bay, current joining companies, management and operation, as well as policies and services, followed by a discussion with the delegation team.
IHEIE was founded by MINES ParisTech and is a member of Paris Sciences et Lettres. It aims to provide international trainings for managers from corporations, helping them gain a global perspective of innovation as well as entrepreneurship ecosystems. It has three campuses in Paris, Los Angeles, and Shanghai. Every year IHEIE students will visit and communicate with SJTU-ParisTech.
