PhD: “Acoustic monitoring of damage in cemented granular materials: experiments and simulations”
Institut Langevin, ESPCI Paris / ISTerre, Université Grenoble Alpes. Supervised by Michel CAMPILLO (F-IMAGE ERC project at ISTerre, Grenoble), Xiaoping JIA (Institut Langevin, Paris) and Ioan R. IONESCU (Institut Galilée, Villetaneuse).
Experimental work: samples synthesis, mechanical tests, both active (with sound velocities) and passive (with acoustic emissions) acoustic monitoring, signal processing.
Numerical work: structural and elasto-plastic modeling, Finite Element (FreeFEM++) and Discrete Elements (DEM) simulations of quasistatic and dynamic problems.
Teaching : informational and scientific research skills for students of different fields and levels. Libraries of Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC), Paris.
Other activities: PhD student representative and organiser of PhD student seminars at the In-stitut Langevin.
