Sino French Cultural Center

The Sino-French Cultural Center unites the strengths of teachers and students related to Sino-French cultural exchanges, strengthens the understanding and exchanges between China and France at the cultural level, carries out research on the French language and Sino-French cultural exchanges, provides information support for Sino-French cooperation, and creates an influential platform for Sino-French cooperation and exchanges with the functions of research, exchanges, and consulting and political services, and provides support for the construction of the French language program of the university in various aspects. With French education (universities), French industry, and international organizations as the main dimensions, we build a platform for all-round exchanges and cooperation between China and France.

Main tasks

Research

In the first phase, we mainly carry out research on French language and culture, French-speaking countries and regions, Sino-French education and humanistic exchanges, and other related fields.

Communication

Organize exchange activities to increase interaction between China and France, promote mutual understanding and collide sparks of ideas.

Service

It serves the comprehensive cooperation between Shanghai Jiaotong University and France, connects the interested units of Jiaotong University to French cooperation, and organizes the teaching and administrative team to go to French universities for research.
