The Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur (CTI), established in 1934 and recognized by French law, is an independent body. Educational institutions accredited by CTI are authorized to confer the title of Engineer, a diploma recognized by the French state. The French Engineering Diploma is a unique higher education diploma in France, equivalent to a Master's degree. The list of accredited engineering diplomas is published in the French Official Journal, and graduates holding this diploma enjoy the same rights as graduates from French institutions.
The European Engineering Education Accreditation (EUR-ACE) system was established in Brussels in 2006 by 14 European associations related to engineering education. It aims to integrate higher engineering education resources in Europe and facilitate the mobility of engineers among European countries. It is one of the influential systems in the international engineering education accreditation system.
The institute was accredited with CTI Accreditation and EUR-ACE Accreditation in 2015 after only three years of operation, and has been renewed with 6-year accreditation in 2018 and 2024 respectively. The CTI accreditation highly affirms the effectiveness of the institute in terms of teaching quality, enterprise cooperation, international cooperation, international student exchanges, and fully reflects the quality of the institute's operation. The CTI evaluation report states that the Institute meets the requirements of both the Chinese and French education systems, and is highly innovative and up-to-date.
