SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology deeply integrates high-quality educational resources from China and France, with a mission to cultivate outstanding engineering leaders equipped with global competence. SPEIT has innovatively established a “four-in-one” international faculty matrix, bringing together a multi-dimensional teaching force comprising full-time faculty members from the School, faculty from Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s leading disciplines, elite professors from partner institutions in France, and technical experts from top multinational corporations. This faculty is responsible for teaching foundational theory and guiding students in engineering practice, graduation projects, and other innovative activities. In March of the spring semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, SPEIT fully leverages the strengths of its Sino-French collaborative education program by inviting seven distinguished professors from France’s top engineering schools, as well as corporate executives, to deliver lectures to the students.

On March 18, Shanghai Jiao Tong University held its 2026 Spring and Summer Semester Cadre Conference, during which the 2025 Shanghai Jiao Tong University “Management and Service Award” was presented. Qi Guifang from SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology received the Third Prize.

On March 12, Vincent Luciani, Co-founder and Executive Chairman of Artefact, and Edouard de Mezerac, Global Chief Executive Officer of the company, visited the SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology. The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics including the integration of industry and education and talent cultivation, and conducted a ceremony to renew their memorandum of cooperation. This renewal marks a further deepening of the partnership established between the two institutions since 2019. Looking ahead, they will jointly explore new models for cultivating “AI+” talents oriented toward the era of artificial intelligence.

To celebrate the 130th anniversary of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the 116th International Women's Day, the forum “Paths of Science: Growth, Commitment, and Horizons of Women in Technology” was successfully held on March 8 at the SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology.

From February 3 to 6, 2026, as the Lunar New Year of the Horse approached, Shanghai Jiao Tong University Minhang Campus welcomed a group of spirited young faces. Hundreds of outstanding high school students from 15 provinces across China, including Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Anhui, entered the SJTU campus to participate in two sci-tech winter camps—“Everything Connected” and “Intelligent Twin Constellation”—jointly organized by the SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology, the “Xuesen Challenge Program,” and the “Dengfeng Program.”

SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology and the Reactor Engineering Institute of Nuclear Power Institute China have joined forces to tackle critical technological challenges in the intelligent upgrading of China's nuclear industry. Through three years of exploration, SPEIT and NPIC have innovatively developed a university-industry collaborative curriculum, establishing a new ecosystem for collaborative education driven by “real scenarios, real data, and real problems.” This initiative has become a benchmark example of industry-education integration.

On January 15, SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology and TENFONG formally held a signing ceremony for their university-enterprise cooperation framework agreement. Moving forward, both parties will adhere to the principles of “complementary strengths, mutual benefit, and shared development.”, deepening collaboration in key areas such as industrial software talent cultivation, R&D and application of domestic simulation software, and cutting-edge scientific research partnerships. Together, SPEIT and TENFONG will advance the deep integration of industry, academia, research, and application to foster high-quality talent development.

Recently, following the defense review organized by the Student Affairs Steering Committee of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Wang Shaobo, Associate Professor at the SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology, was awarded the honorary title of “Top Ten Class Advisors of Shanghai Jiao Tong University 2025.”
