How to apply?
Degree programs

For those of you who have completed high school education, including the “Baccalauréat” or equivalent in France, you are eligible to apply for SPEIT admission directly to SJTU. You can find the eligibility requirements and application process on the  Study@SJTU.

Once admitted, you will have the opportunity to pursue your undergraduate studies and, depending on your academic performance and eligibility, potentially continue onto the Master’s program.

Note: For non-French speaking students, intensive courses in both French and Chinese will be offered to help them develop language proficiency.

 

Exchange programs

SPEIT welcomes exchange students from all over the world. As of Spring 2024, SPEIT has received 83 international exchange students.

SPEIT offers a wide variety of courses and organizes cultural activities to give you a deep experience of Chinese culture during your stay in China. If you are interested in the exchange program, please contact admission.speit@sjtu.edu.cn.

  • Online application is open between February 15th and May 31st for the current academic year. Please fill your information and upload the application materials as asked. Your candidature will be examined carefully and, a reply will be given before May 15th.
  • An interview might be required if needed. In case of any problems, please contact admission.speit@sjtu.edu.cn.
  • This application way is only for non-Chinese citizen, foreign visa holders with senior high school diploma (or above).
  • According to the regulation decided by Chinese Minister of Education, overseas applicants who were nationals of the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan must have held a valid foreign passport or certificate of nationality for at least four years, and over two years of the actual abroad residence record within the last four years.
