Drawing on the French engineering education model of "2 years of preparatory classes + 3 years of engineering education" and adhering to the requirements of the Chinese higher education system, SPEIT has established a 6.5-year integrated bachelor's and master's program. This program includes 4 years of undergraduate study and 2.5 years of master's education. From a teaching perspective, it is divided into the foundational stage and the engineering stage.

Any student who meets the SPEIT's academic requirements may be admitted directly to the master's level at the end of the four-year undergraduate program, and students who complete all academic requirements will be awarded:

Shanghai Jiao Tong University Master's Degree
French Engineering Diploma accredited by the French Engineering Title Commission (CTI)
Additional Master's Degree from Overseas Partner Universities through Dual Degree Programs
