On January 14, 2025, the SPEIT successfully hosted a pre-departure exchange meeting for dual-degree students. This meeting was aimed at undergraduate students from the Class of 2021 and 2022 who are planning to pursue dual degrees in France in 2025. It was designed to provide comprehensive and thoughtful support and preparation for students about to embark on their academic journey in France.
The SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology is committed to aligning talent cultivation with national development, deepening students' sense of national identity, and shaping their global vision with global competence as the driving force. In 2024, the "Global Outstanding Engineers" training program achieved remarkable results, and the institute once again won the "Special Award for Student Affairs" and the "Special Award for Employment Work" from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

About SPEIT
To respond to the call for implementing the Plan for the Education and Development of Excellent Engineers, a project of major reform set forth in the Outline of China’s National Plan for Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development (2010-2020), and to prepare elite engineers for social development in the future, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) co-established the SJTU ParisTech Elite Institute of Technology with the French ParisTech in 2012 after obtaining approval from China’s Ministry of Education (MoE).
