Recently, Hong Lizhan, an undergraduate student from Professor Gong Helin's AISEA research group at SPEIT, published a research paper titled "On the accuracy and efficiency of the reactor operation digital twin for parameter identification and state estimation" in the renowned journal Nuclear Science and Techniques (NST), which specializes in nuclear science and technology.
From July 14th to 20th, SPEIT successfully hosted the 2024 High School Students Summer Research Challenge Camp. This camp attracted 97 outstanding students from over 50 key high schools across the country, including the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China, Northeast Yucai School, and Shanghai High School.

About SPEIT
To respond to the call for implementing the Plan for the Education and Development of Excellent Engineers, a project of major reform set forth in the Outline of China’s National Plan for Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development (2010-2020), and to prepare elite engineers for social development in the future, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) co-established the SJTU ParisTech Elite Institute of Technology with the French ParisTech in 2012 after obtaining approval from China’s Ministry of Education (MoE).
