SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology (SPEIT) was jointly established in 2012 by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and two of France’s most prestgious university: Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris) and Paris Sciences et Lettres University（PSL）.
Over the past decade, SPEIT has engaged in close cooperation with its French partner institutions in education, research, student exchange, and industrial collaboration. SPEIT currently offers majors in Mechanical Engineering,Information Enginee-ring, and Energy& Power Engineering, and promotes inter-disciplinary innovation based on the solid foundation of French engineering education. SPEIT has successfully passed the CTI accreditation (Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur) and EUR-ACE certification three times.

Requirements

A Ph.D. degree in relevent fields or related deisciplines. Applicants for the tenured-track associate professor position should generally have at least three years of work experience in relevant academic positions after obtaining their doctoral degree.

In 2023, a new laboratory building was completed and put into use, with a total floor area of 4,230 m², creating favorable conditions for future research cooperation and interdisciplinary integration. In April 2025, the construction of a new China–France building was initiated with a total floor area of 7,500 m², will further consolidate SPEIT’s teaching and research infrastructure.
