Recently, Alain GALLIANO, Vice President of Métropole de Lyon, led Eric MAURINCOMME, President of INSA Lyon, Jacques COMBY, President of Université Lyon 3 and Olivier CLARIS, Chairman of the Medical Committee of the Hospitals of Lyon, to visit SPEIT. Liu Zenglu, Chairman and Deputy Dean, Joaquim NASSAR, French Dean, Liu Jian, Assistant to Commissioner of the International Cooperation and Exchanges, Yang Wenjie, Image Doctor of Ruijin Hospital and Zhang Yin, Project Director of School of Medicine, among others, attended the reception.

According to the introduction of Vice Chairman of the Delegation of Lyon, the Delegation had more than 60 people and the visit to Shanghai mainly involved areas of higher education, medical treatment and scientific research. The two sides discussed the potential cooperation between SJTU and Métropole de Lyon in the field of education, including INSA Lyon faculty cooperation and exchange of students, and cooperation between School of Medicine of SJTU and Lyon medical education and medical system and other cooperation projects.
