Recently, delegations from ParisTech and ESSEC Business School visited the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) SPEIT to discuss deepening cooperation. Frédéric Toumazet, the French Dean of SPEIT, and the team from the Cooperation and Development Office warmly welcomed the delegations.
On May 20, a delegation from ParisTech visited our institute. The delegation included Marie-Christine Bert, Head of International Relations at École des Ponts ParisTech, Dr. Yujun Cui, Professor in the Civil Engineering Department, Fenglin Liang, International Affairs Officer at ESPCI ParisTech, and Minhua Yang, ParisTech’s representative in China.
ParisTech is a prestigious alliance of engineering schools in France, bringing together some of the most renowned engineering graduate schools and business schools. ParisTech and our institute have maintained a long-term friendly cooperative relationship.
During the meeting, Frédéric Toumazet briefly introduced the recent developments of the institute in student training, faculty development, research achievements, and international cooperation. The ParisTech delegation listened with great interest and shared the recent accomplishments of ParisTech in areas such as student diversity, international development, and innovation and entrepreneurship.
In this exchange, SPEIT, École des Ponts ParisTech, and ESPCI ParisTech reached a preliminary cooperation intention for student exchanges.
On the morning of May 21, Matthew Gibb, representative of the International Relations Office of ESSEC Business School, visited our institute, accompanied by Zhou Leqin from the Europe and Oceania Cooperation Office of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office at SJTU.
As one of the most prestigious business schools in France, ESSEC Business School enjoys a high reputation in the field of business and management. It is an important training base for senior management talents in French and international enterprises. ESSEC Business School has maintained close cooperation with the Antai College of Economics and Management at SJTU.
Frédéric Toumazet and Matthew Gibb discussed the possibility of providing more diversified overseas study and exchange opportunities for teachers and students of both institutions. Zhou Leqin, on behalf of SJTU’s International Cooperation and Exchange Office, expressed a warm welcome and high expectations for further deepening the cooperation between ESSEC Business School and SJTU in talent training and joint development.
SPEIT will continue to expand international cooperation, providing teachers and students with richer overseas exchange and study opportunities, and contributing to Sino-French educational and cultural exchanges.
