Zied MOUMNI first warmly welcomed all participating scholars on behalf of the institute. He briefly reviewed the development history and achievements of the institute, stating that after twelve years of development, the SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology has become a model of Sino-French educational cooperation and has now entered a new stage of development. This scholars' forum is an excellent opportunity for academic exchange, and he hopes that young scholars will actively communicate and provide more innovative ideas.

Hong Nana introduced the talent introduction policy of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, stating that the century-old university was "born to be strong, prospered through reform, and thrived because of talents." Shanghai Jiao Tong University widely opens channels to attract young talents and supports the growth of young talents in many aspects such as housing, medical care, and education.

Dean Zhang Wenming elaborated on the institute's vision for faculty construction, the construction of research platforms, talent introduction needs, and support policies. He said that this year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, and he hopes to take this opportunity to attract more outstanding young scholars to join the institute and seek common development.

After the opening ceremony, young scholars attended the Information Engineering Sub-forum or the Mechanical Engineering and Energy Power Sub-forum based on their research themes and fields, sharing their research findings and achievements. Teachers from related majors of the institute participated.

At this youth forum, Professor Zhang Wenming, Professor Zied MOUMNI, and Teacher Hong Nana awarded Professor François CAUNEAU the title of Visiting Professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Professor François CAUNEAU is a senior professor from the French partner school Mines Paris and has been teaching at the institute as a visiting teacher in the energy and power engineering major for nearly ten years. He expressed that he is very honored to receive this title of honor, has a deep affection for Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and greatly enjoys the students of the SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology, hoping for more international cooperation in the future.

This Sino-French International Youth Scholars Forum, as one of the sub-forums of Shanghai Jiao Tong University's "Zhiyuan" International Youth Scholars Forum, has built a platform for academic exchange and discussion among outstanding international young scholars and is also an important platform for the institute to recruit talents. The SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology will continue to maintain an open attitude and sincerely invite young scholars from around the world who are committed to exploring the frontiers of science and climbing the peaks of scientific research to join and together create a world-class engineering institute.
