Shanghai Jiao Tong is one of the most historic and prestigious higher education institutions in China, renowned both domestically and internationally. It is a national university directly under the Ministry of Education and co-built with Shanghai Municipality. SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology (SPEIT)
Established in 2012 through a joint venture between Shanghai Jiao Tong University and France's top universities — IP Paris and Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL)— the institute has engaged in close cooperation and exchanges with its French partner schools in teaching, scientific research, student exchanges, and industrial incubation over the past decade. The institute offers majors in mechanical engineering, information engineering, and energy and power engineering. Relying on the strong foundation of French engineering education and Shanghai Jiao Tong University's profound academic foundation, it conducts interdisciplinary innovative research.
SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology has always adhered to the main strategy of strengthening the institute with talented individuals, aiming for a faculty team that is "high-level, international, and diversified." Currently, the institute has 45 full-time dedicated teachers, with 40% being foreign teachers, three national-level talent plan members (including youth programs), one foreign national specially appointed expert, and two Shanghai Municipal international teaching masters. In addition, the institute has 63 senior French professors and 64 enterprise experts, who, as an important part of the faculty team, jointly participate in and promote international scientific research cooperation and university-enterprise cooperation.

Industrial Network System Perception and Control Research Platform

Built upon the Ministry of Education's Key Laboratory of System Control and Information Processing, with the goal of "efficient collaboration of heterogeneous industrial networks at the field level," it has broken through key technological bottlenecks and successfully developed Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) technology and its core equipment supporting large-scale data interaction, providing key technical support for the development of major equipment such as software-defined satellites and automated testing of large aircraft assembly.
Intelligent Equipment Dynamics and Sensing-Driven Technology Research Platform

Neutron Science Research Center

Built upon the National Key Laboratory of Neutron Science and Technology, it is committed to the research of neutron large-scale scientific facilities in the fields of new material development and non-destructive characterization technology, and vigorously promotes the application of neutron technology in fields such as aerospace, nuclear power defense, chemical engineering, biomedicine, high-speed rail ships, and basic research.
Clean Energy Research Center

In response to the national new energy strategy, focusing on the breakthrough and industrialization of hydrogen energy core technologies, it is dedicated to research in the fields of hydrogen energy utilization - fuel cells, hydrogen production - electrolysis of water, and clean fuel - electrochemical production of ammonia, actively promoting the optimization and upgrading of the global energy structure.

(1) Abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, possess good scientific ethics, and consciously practice the spirit of scientists in the new era;
(2) Date of birth on or after January 1, 1985;
(3) Main research direction is natural science, engineering technology, etc.;
(4) After obtaining a doctoral degree and before 2025 (specific date subject to the project guide of the year), generally should have obtained a formal teaching or research position in overseas universities, research institutions, or enterprise R&D institutions, and have more than 36 months of continuous work experience; for those who obtained a doctoral degree overseas and have particularly outstanding achievements, the work experience requirement may be appropriately relaxed;
(5) Achieved scientific research or technological results recognized by peers, and have the potential to become an academic leader or outstanding talent in the field;
(6) The applicant has not yet returned to (come to) China for full-time work, or returned to (come to) China for full-time work after January 1, 2024. After receiving the funding notice, must resign from overseas work or have no work overseas, and return to (come to) China for full-time work for no less than 3 years.
On the basis of tenured faculty benefits, the basic annual salary is no less than 700,000/year + housing allowance, and exceptionally outstanding individuals can negotiate terms individually.
