After successfully completing his defense, Bi Yue expressed his gratitude for being the first joint doctoral student between the two universities. He said that his achievements were not possible without the excellent resources and full support provided by the two universities, but also due to the careful guidance and selfless help from the supervisors of both universities. Although he encountered many challenges during his research, he benefited from the ideas and suggestions provided by different supervisors from different perspectives, which not only broadened his academic horizons, but also improved his problem-solving ability. Looking to the future, Bi Yue hopes to explore more deeply in the academic field and make more useful contributions to the society. At the same time, he also expects that his experience can become a bridge for the cooperation and exchange between the two universities, and promote further cooperation between the two universities in the field of academics and talent cultivation.

The dual doctoral degree program between SJTU and Institut Polytechnique de Paris is aimed at cultivating high-level talents with international vision and excellent scientific research ability. The successful graduation of the first doctoral student not only sets a benchmark for the subsequent joint training students, but also fully demonstrates the great potential of international cooperation in cultivating top talents. This important milestone marks a solid step in the international cooperation between the two universities in the field of Sino-French higher education. In the future, both sides will continue to deepen the cooperation, expand the scale of exchanges, join hands to promote the development of scientific research and technological innovation, and jointly cultivate international research talents who will lead the future.
