On the afternoon of March 26th, the first ΣPoster Academic Exchange event of the SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology was successfully held in the lobby of the first floor of the institute. The atmosphere was lively and bustling with over 40 students and research group representatives from the institute presenting their fascinating academic posters and engaging in academic exchanges with the teachers and students present. The event was hosted by first-year student Xing Xiaoyu from the Student Union's Innovation and Research Center.

The academic posters on display covered cutting-edge research areas such as computer science and artificial intelligence, intelligent systems and automation, energy and environment, new materials and advanced manufacturing, as well as healthcare and human-machine interaction. They fully demonstrated the broad scope and diversity of the three major fields of study at the SPEIT: electronic and information engineering, mechanical engineering, and energy and power engineering. This allowed younger students to experience the infinite charm, potential, and possibilities of the three engineering majors.

Participants vividly showcased their research directions by combining visual data, charts, and research findings, attracting many teachers and students to stop and engage in discussions, creating a dense academic atmosphere on-site. In particular, senior students actively shared their research experiences and insights, revealing to their juniors the vastness of the research world.
To promote interaction and enliven the atmosphere, the event specially set up three awards: the "Most Popular Award," the "Most Academic Value Award," and the "Best Design Award," which were determined by on-site voting and a panel of judges.

Ultimately, the poster by Zhao Rong, the poster by Li Ruiheng, and the poster by Zheng Weilong titled "AI for Decoding Brain Activities" won the "Most Academic Value Award." The Chinese Dean of the SPEIT, Chen Cailian, and the French Dean, Zied Moumni, presented the awards to the winning teachers and students.

The posters by Ye Shenrong and Zhou Jinghao titled "How We Study Water Electrolysis" and the poster by Zheng Weilong titled "AI for Decoding Brain Activities" won the "Most Popular Award." The Vice Dean of the institute, Lu Jialiang, and Zhong Shengyi presented the awards to the winning teachers and students.

The poster by Wang Jinghe on the theme of "Crowd Computing, Data Mining and Resource Management in Internet of Things" and the poster by Hu Haoxing titled "Reduce the Hydrogen Crossover in PEMWE" won the "Best Design Award." The Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the institute, Yao Xue, presented the awards to the winners.

In conclusion, Deans Chen Cailian and Zied Moumni delivered summary speeches. They emphasized that the "Σ" symbolizes not only summation but also the collective wisdom in exploring the unknown. This academic poster event has significantly enhanced the academic atmosphere of the institute. They hope that the ΣPoster will become a regular and series-based academic exchange platform in the future, inviting more students to actively participate with their research results, so that cross-grade communication, interdisciplinary cooperation, and academic innovation can become new hallmarks of the SPEIT.
