From the moment Huang Suizhi entered SJTU in 2018, he dedicated himself to learning and research with full enthusiasm and rigorous dedication. Starting from his undergraduate years, he actively engaged in scientific research. At the Dark Matter Exploration Laboratory of the School of Physics and Astronomy, he applied deep learning techniques to the field of high-energy particles. He presented research on behalf of the Chinese laboratory at the DANCE conference, earning unanimous recognition from international peers. This persistence and effort, tested over time, eventually bore fruit – his research paper was formally accepted by the Journal of Physics G: Nuclear and Particle Physics, laying a solid foundation for his continued exploration in the scientific field.

Upon entering graduate school, he shifted his research focus to computer vision. Under the guidance of Professor Lu Hongtao from the School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering, he participated in multiple cutting-edge research projects and real-world applications. During his postgraduate studies, he co-authored 11 papers, including 3 as first author or co-first author. These were published in top-tier international conferences and journals such as CVPR 2025 (Highlight, top 2.9%), CVPR 2024, ICASSP 2024 (Oral), ICML, ICME, TCSVT, and WSDM. These achievements not only demonstrate his academic talent but also solidify the foundation for his future academic path.

Alongside his studies and research, Huang Suizhi actively participates in various sports, deeply understanding that a healthy body is a crucial cornerstone on the path to pursuing dreams. He embodies this understanding in his daily life.

Starting in his undergraduate years, he actively engaged in campus sports. As a freshman, he enthusiastically participated in the Volleyball, Badminton, and Basketball Freshmen Cups. In his upperclassman years, he excelled particularly in volleyball, progressing from a member of the institute volleyball team to joining the university's varsity volleyball team, eventually becoming the captain of the institute team. He led the team to achieve the institute's then-best-ever record at the university’s tournament, securing third place. In his first year of graduate studies, he helped the institute team win the championship in volleyball at the university sports meet.

Amidst heavy academic and research workloads, Huang Suizhi also actively participated in various cultural and recreational activities, showcasing his versatility. From starring as the male lead in the institute's microfilm during his undergraduate studies to hosting graduation ceremonies multiple times, his presence was felt across various institute activities.

During military training, he actively participated in the themed speech competition, winning first prize. He was ultimately selected as the student representative to speak at the university-wide mobilization assembly. Notably, he participated in the university-level drama "Qian Xuesen" (Father of Chinese Aerospace) for four consecutive years, contributing both as a supporting actor and helping with backstage set design. In December 2023, he toured Macau with the troupe for a week-long performance. This experience not only enriched his artistic repertoire but also gave him a profound appreciation for the importance of cultural dissemination.

Huang Suizhi always keeps the word "responsibility" in mind. Whether in student work or volunteer service, he demonstrates a strong sense of duty and mission.

During his undergraduate studies, he served as class monitor for four years and vice president of the institute student union for one year. As a bridge between the institute and his fellow students, he actively organized various student activities, earning consistent praise from teachers and classmates. Upon entering graduate school, he continued to serve as the class Youth League branch secretary, actively organizing class team-building activities. Simultaneously, during his second year of graduate studies, he served as the head of the Graduate Student Department within the institute student union. In this role, he organized multiple alumni and corporate campus events, helping graduate students better plan their career development.

In terms of volunteer service, Huang Suizhi spares no effort. From participating in teaching support programs and blood donation drives multiple times as an undergraduate to joining the "Scorching Sun" summer teaching support team during his first year of graduate studies, where he conducted a teaching project at Yangjia Middle School in Hunan, he uses concrete actions to interpret the social responsibility of contemporary university students.
