On August 26, 2025, more than 140 undergraduate freshmen of the 2025 cohort from SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology (SPEIT) arrived as scheduled at the Minhang Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), accompanied by their parents and relatives, officially embarking on their journey of excellence.

Beginning from 8 a.m., freshmen arrived at the registration points one after another. Guided by student volunteers, they signed in in an orderly manner, drew "lucky cards" to receive warm wishes from senior students, and took photos with their families at the carefully arranged check-in spots to freeze the beautiful moments of their enrollment.

The institute carefully prepared an enrollment gift package for the freshmen: it included practical items such as a travel toiletry bag, a USB flash drive, and a document bag to support their daily study and life; it also contained an exquisite institute emblem that carries honor and a sense of belonging, as well as a canvas bag that is both aesthetic and practical.

In the morning, Xiong Zhenhua, Secretary of the CPCC of SPEIT, Chen Cailian, Chinese Dean, Lu Jialiang, Vice Dean, freshmen class teachers, and teachers from the Undergraduate Academic Affairs Office, Student Affairs Office, and Publicity & Admission Office came to the orientation site. They greeted the volunteers, visited the dormitories, listened to the students' expectations and thoughts about college life, and encouraged everyone to actively integrate into the new environment and embrace a wonderful college experience.
