On November 20, 2025, the Sixth SPEIT International Young Scholars Forum was successfully convened. The event attracted over 50 outstanding young scholars from world-class universities and research institutions. Fourteen young scholars were invited to deliver academic presentations, engaging in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics in Information Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering, and forward-looking interdisciplinary fields

SPEIT extended invitations to Professor Ding Ye ,Professor Chen Feifei, Professor He Jianping, Professor Le Xinyi, Professor Gao Anzhu and Professor Wu Yue . Xiong Zhenhua, Chen Cailian, Zied MOUMNI, Zhong Shengyi, Lu Jialiang, Wang Shaobo and Sun Chenye, along with young faculty members and students from SPEIT participated in the event. The proceedings were chaired by Xiong Zhenhua.

At the opening ceremony, Xiong Zhenhua, representing SPEIT, extended a warm welcome to all participating scholars. He noted that this forum had attracted over 50 outstanding scholars from top global institutions, serving as a vital platform for exchanging academic ideas and fostering interdisciplinary innovation, as well as a key window for SPEIT to recruit global talent. He also expressed gratitude to the faculty and students for their long-term support in the SPEIT's development.

Chen Cailian outlined SJTU's “Talent-Driven” strategy. As a model for international education of SJTU, SPEIT is intensifying efforts to advance its tenure-track faculty system. SPEIT's high-level talent recruitment, campus expansion, global student enrollment, and international program collaborations are all experiencing vigorous growth. We warmly invite more outstanding young scholars to join us in driving the school's high-quality development.

Zied MOUMNI outlined the distinctive features of France's engineering education system, noting that SPEIT integrates the strengths of both Chinese and French engineering education. Over the past thirteen years, it has become a model for Sino-French cooperative education and is now advancing into a new phase of development. He encouraged young scholars to actively exchange ideas through the forum and contribute more innovative thinking.
