On the afternoon of December 2nd, Matthieu Lancry, Head of Internationalization at Paris-Saclay University, led a delegation to visit SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology. The two parties held working talks to deepen Sino-French higher education cooperation. Qi Guifang, Director of the Office of Cooperation and Development of SPEIT, together with Zhu Sinan and Zhang Yan, International Affairs Specialists of SPEIT, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, both parties expressed strong willingness to advance joint student training programs in their respective areas of expertise. Discussions then centered on core topics including university-level dual-degree agreements, student exchange programs, and internship collaborations. Qi Guifang shared SPEIT's experience and practices from previous related projects, offering suggestions on subsequent workflows, timelines, and key preparatory tasks. Matthieu Lancry expressed strong approval of these proposals.

Building on this foundation, Qi Guifang proposed a collaborative initiative to expand internship and career development platforms for French students. She highlighted joint projects with institutions such as the National Innovation Center, which provide international students with career support for entering Chinese enterprises. Both parties then engaged in practical discussions on semester arrangements for student exchanges, mechanisms for integrating internships with coursework, and pathways for post-graduation development in China.

Over the past three years, SPEIT and Paris-Saclay University have maintained close exchanges and interactions, sending a total of 27 students to study at Paris-Saclay University and hosting 11 international students. Following the formal signing of the university-level dual-degree agreement, cooperation between the two institutions will enter a new phase, offering students broader opportunities for learning and development.

Prior to the meeting, the delegation toured the SJTU campus and international student dormitories to gain firsthand insight into the teaching and living environments. Delegation members remarked that SJTU's excellent campus environment and comprehensive supporting facilities provide ideal conditions for international students' academic pursuits and daily life. They expressed confidence that these offerings will attract more outstanding students to engage in exchange programs and pursue advanced studies.
