On December 8, the delegation made its first stop at École Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées (ENSTA), engaging in face-to-face discussions with students planning to pursue exchange programs or dual degrees at SJTU next year. Delegation members provided a comprehensive overview of SJTU's distinctive educational features, academic planning arrangements, and diverse campus resources, with a particular focus on explaining the unique advantages and core highlights of SPEIT‘s engineering training system. Students expressed enthusiastic interest, actively posing questions about course selection, credit recognition, and accommodation arrangements.

From December 9th to 10th, the delegation conducted recruitment presentations at several prestigious French secondary schools. At École Alsacienne and Lycée International de l’Est Parisien, the delegation systematically introduced SJTU’s Chinese-English dual-language undergraduate programs and distinctive engineering education model. Both institutions have established mature Chinese immersion teaching systems, cultivating numerous outstanding students proficient in Chinese and deeply knowledgeable about Chinese culture.

During the visit, the delegation also held in-depth discussions with the Inspector General in the field of Chinese Language Teaching at the Ministry of Education (France). Currently, over 60 French high schools offer Chinese language courses, with the number of secondary students studying Chinese exceeding 38,000. French students' enthusiasm for studying Chinese and pursuing higher education in China continues to grow. This trend not only provides ample opportunities for SJTU to expand its recruitment of high-quality students from France but also clarifies the direction for future enrollment promotion and student attraction efforts.
Zied MOUMNI headed to Tunisia from December 9 to 10 to advance cooperative initiatives. As a key opportunity for collaboration in Tunisia's higher education sector, his first stop was the École Polytechnique de Tunisie. During the exchange symposium, Zied MOUMNI comprehensively introduced SPEIT's educational system integrating Chinese and French educational strengths, along with its research specialties and achievements in fields such as intelligent manufacturing and energy engineering. He emphasized the curriculum design, credit transfer rules, and graduation requirements of the dual-degree joint training program. Subsequently, he engaged in substantive discussions with university representatives and faculty/student delegates on specific collaboration formats including dual-degree joint training, semester exchanges, and research internships, solidifying a robust consensus for future cooperation implementation.

Additionally, Zied MOUMNI held talks with former senior officials from Tunisia's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The discussions focused on exploring the feasibility of establishing a ministerial-level cooperation framework, aiming to build institutionalized cooperation bridges between SPEIT and multiple engineering schools in Tunisia, thereby solidifying the foundation for long-term collaboration.
