The SPEIT Student Affairs Team, drawing inspiration from the Part-Work and Part-Study Movement in France, centers its mission on the intergenerational pursuit of youth across time and space. Rooted in the patriotic ethos of “returning to serve the nation, loving the country through study abroad, and dedicating oneself to the motherland,” it has established a “Seven Dimensions and One Core” value-driven system that fosters profound resonance between great figures and students.

The team leveraged XR technology to create online thematic exhibition halls, establish cultural corridors, and develop cultural spaces, innovating formats to enhance the appeal and influence of value-driven guidance for youth.

The team collaborates with five institutions, including Huangpu Wharf and Montargis in France, to establish educational bases. Partnering with multiple relevant venues and organizations in China and France, the team builds a digital resource repository, enabling “a single map to explore the Part-Work and Part-Study Movement in France”.

SPEIT actively builds a distinctive Sino-French cultural exchange platform, enabling young people to develop cross-cultural understanding and communication skills. Events such as the “Sino-French Cultural Festival” and the “Sino-French Excellence Lecture Series” have attracted tens of thousands of participants, garnered extensive media coverage, and become hallmarks of SJTU campus culture.

In the practical activities organized by SPEIT, over 100 faculty and students from more than 10 cities across two countries embarked on domestic and international journeys, deepening their global understanding through hands-on exploration. Students achieved remarkable results in scientific innovation, securing multiple awards including the National Gold Prize in the international track and the Shanghai Gold Prize at the “2025 China International College Student Innovation Competition.”

The SPEIT Psychological Service Center was officially inaugurated, adopting “developmental prevention” as its core philosophy. It established a “five-tiered collaborative” service team and implemented a diversified model combining “individual counseling + group counseling + workshops + psychological lectures” to provide routine psychological services, forming a Sino-French distinctive psychological work platform.

In 2025, the SPEIT Youth Volunteer Team was honored as one of “SJTU's Top Ten Volunteer Organizations,” while the SPEIT Student Union received the Gold Award for School-Level Student Unions at SJTU.

Leveraging graduates' dual strengths in French and engineering, the SPEIT Student Affairs Team has established a comprehensive career planning system. Innovative flagship programs like “Excellence Mentorship” and “Career Insights Face-to-Face” were launched, featuring 12 thematic workshops and 9 specialized recruitment sessions throughout the year. Through alumni career trajectory tracking, multidimensional analytical reports were developed to inform employment guidance strategies.

2025届毕业生就业率100%，全年有7名学生赴联合国难民署、经合组织等国际组织实习，彰显培养体系实效。学院就业工作成效显著，荣获上海交通大学“就业工作特色奖”。

The 2025 SPEIT graduating class achieved a 100% employment rate, with seven students securing internships at international organizations such as the UN Refugee Agency and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development throughout the year, demonstrating the effectiveness of the training system. SPEIT's employment work yielded remarkable results, earning SJTU’s “Distinguished Employment Work Award”.
