May 20th afternoon, Yan Xuezhuan, Senior Director of the Technical Consulting Department at Dassault Systèmes, and Li Junxuan, Sales Director of the Education Partnership Department, visited the SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology. They were received by Zied Moumni, French Dean of the Institute, and Li Junyan, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, along with other faculty members. They exchanged views on industry-education integration, talent cultivation, and research collaboration. The meeting included a renewal ceremony for the school-enterprise cooperation.
During the conference, Zied MOUMNI warmly welcomed the arrival of the Dassault Systèmes delegation. He pointed out that the Institute has always maintained close connections with the industry, committed to cultivating engineering talents who meet industrial needs. In 2021, the Institute and Dassault Systèmes signed the first cooperation official document. Together, they cooperaded in academic lectures, joint course development, internship practices, etc..., achieving fruitful results. Currently, engineering education faces new challenges, and there is an urgent need to cultivate talents who can integrate multidisciplinary knowledge and possess a global vision. Mr. MOUMNI expects that, taking this renewal as an opportunity, we will further deepen cooperation with Dassault Systèmes in joint course development, research collaboration, talent cultivation, and continue to explore new models for cultivating engineering talents that meet future industrial needs.
Yan Xuezhuan, focusing on "industrial software empowering engineering education," shared Dassault Systèmes's latest practices in the construction of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and AI-empowered education. He explained that Dassault Systèmes attaches great importance to cooperation with top universities. They also hopes to take this renewal as an opportunity to deepen the cooperation on joint innovative course development, collaborative research, and startup incubation with our Institute and to cultivate engineers with a global vision together.
This meeting is another step in our long-term cooperative relationship. In the future, we will join hands to deepen cooperation, using efficiently Dassault Systèmes's industrial advantages in software and digital platforms, as well as the Institute's academic advantages in the field of Sino-French engineering education, cultivating together outstanding engineers who can lead industrial transformation, and bring long-term growth into the development of the future engineering field.
