András BORBELY
Professor, MINES Saint-Etienne
机械工程
András BORBELY obtained his Master's degree in Physics from Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania (1979-1984), and his PhD in Physics from Eötvös Lorand University in Budapest, Hungary (1996). His current position is Professor – researcher at MINES Saint-Etienne (https://www.mines-stetienne.fr/author/borbely/). He teaches Solid State Physics, Quantum Mechanics, Tensor properties of Crystals, and Applications of X-ray diffraction and Imaging in Materials Science to students in Civil Engineering. His research focuses on the development of X-ray diffraction methods for the analysis of the microstructure of crystalline materials, a work that is strongly related to technical advances made at synchrotron sources.
