近日,巴黎卓越工程师学院本科三年级《最优化理论》课程展示在学院205报告厅进行。

Recently, the third-year course "Optimization Theory" at SPEIT held its final project demonstration in Lecture Hall 205.

 

同学们按照兴趣和专业背景,自由组成14组。每个小组聚焦一个现实问题,运用课程上学习到的最优化理论知识提出解决方案,并通过图文并茂的海报,展示思考成果。

Students freely formed 14 groups based on their interests and professional backgrounds. Each group addressed a real-life problem, applied optimization theory learned in the course to propose solutions, and presented their findings through richly illustrated posters.

One group developed one-day travel itineraries to Disneyland for various target audiences using optimization methods and information about Shanghai Disneyland available online.

 

有小组以某游戏为例,设计游戏通关的最优路径

A group designed the optimal path for completing a game, using it as a case study.

 

有小组针对国内的调休制度构建反映群众满意度的数学模型,运用最优化方法寻找群众满意度最大的放假方案。

A group built a mathematical model reflecting public satisfaction with the domestic leave adjustment system and used optimization methods to devise the most satisfying holiday plan.

 

还有小组基于患者就诊等待时间过长的问题,提出医院人员分配的优化方案。

Another group suggested an optimization solution for hospital staff allocation to reduce patient waiting times.

 

 

展示环节,每组代表都满怀信心地向在场教师和同学们展示研究成果,不仅详细阐述项目的背景、目标和研究方法,还分享了研究过程中遇到的挑战和解决方法。

During the presentations, representatives from each group confidently shared their research outcomes with the audience, detailing the project's background, objectives, and methodology, as well as discussing the challenges and solutions encountered during their research.

 

现场,不仅数学组教师与同学们就学术问题进行探讨,法语教师也前来了解同学们项目选择的出发点,检验同学们的法语使用。

At the event, Math teachers engaged with students on academic topics, while French teachers explored the rationale behind students’ project choices and assessed their French language skills.

 

《最优化理论》课程是巴黎卓越工程师学院面向大三学生开设的一门数学课程,强调从数学理论到实践应用的衔接。为了让学生更深刻地掌握学习内容,灵活运用学习到的知识,数学组教师精心策划了此次结课项目展示。

"Optimization Theory" is a mathematics course offered to third-year students at SPEIT, emphasizing the transition from mathematical theory to practical application. To deepen students' understanding and versatile application of the learned material, the Mathematics faculty meticulously organized this project presentation.

此次课堂展示得益于巴黎卓越工程师学院的小班化教学和互动式教学。在基础教学阶段,学院每个班级人数为20左右,每位同学都有发言和展示的机会。教师给予每位学生充分的关注,并按照个性和特点予以引导和启发。

The success of the presentations can be attributed to SPEIT's small class sizes and interactive teaching approach. With about 20 students per class, everyone gets a chance to speak and present. Teachers provide personalized attention and guidance, tailoring their support to each student's unique traits and qualities.

 

此外,学院还采用法国高等教育中的口试制度(Colle),由“一对多”的教学延伸至“一对一”的指导,不仅帮助学生打下扎实的数理基础,还充分锻炼他们的临场反应和表达能力,为学生成长为卓越的领袖型、管理型工程技术人才提供坚实的支撑。

Additionally, SPEIT employs the 'Colle' system from French higher education, transitioning from one-to-many teaching to individualized guidance. This method not only solidifies students' mathematical and scientific foundations but also enhances their impromptu reaction and communication skills, preparing them to become exceptional leaders and managers in engineering.
