Chakib BOUALLOU (PhD, Institut National des Sciences Appliquées - INSA Lyon., 1989, HDR (Sciences) Université Sorbone Paris, 2004) is currently Full Professor (Professeur Classe Exceptionnelle) at MINES Paris-PSL (Ecole des Mines de Paris) and Head of the Transfers Reactions Process Team at Energy Environment Process Centre (CEEP) and Head of the "Gas at the heart of the energy transition" chair.
His activity is dedicated to the decarbonization ofthe future's fuelsto, on the one hand, minimize emissions by playing on the
conditions at the source and, on the other hand, design and develop technological solutions for CO2 capture and recovery or energy storage and Power to Gas technology. He is also responsible for the "Processes and Energy" major at MINES Paris and Director of specialized Master in Engineering and Management of Gas.Chakib BOUALLOU has directed over a thirty PhD thesis (https://www.theses.fr/033536872) and more than fifty professional thesis in the field of energy, processes and environment. He has published over one hundred sixty articles in prestigious peer-reviewed journals and several books.Chakib Bouallou is an expert at the European Commission, CNRS Interdisciplinary Programs, French Cooperation Programs, the National Agency for Research (ANR), SWISS Foundation, F.R.S.- FNRS (Belgium) / JSPS (Japan), and Member of the International Scientific Committee of the Conference Process Integration, Modelling and Optimisation for Energy Saving and Pollution Reduction; Member of "International Editorial Advisory Board" of the Scientific Study & Research Journal; Member of "International Editorial Advisory Board" Journal of Chemical Engineering Transactions; Chairman of Franco-Moroccan council of engineers and scientists.
