2014-2016，Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, ICARE, Orléans, France，RESEARCH ENGINEER Leading the kinetic modeling subtask of the IDYLLE program that aims to model the propagation of conventional and synthetic jet-fuel flames in turbulent conditions. Developing kinetic models for surrogate components from theoretical and ab initio calculations. Investigating of the low-pressure propagation of hydrogen/air, syngas/air and methane/air flames. Supervising Master students.
2010-2014，RESEARCH ASSOCIATE SCHOLAR, Princeton University, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace, Princeton, United States.，RESEARCH ASSOCIATE SCHOLAR Reinforced the research group competitiveness through the development of validated kinetic models for the oxidation of jet- and biodiesel fuels. Expanded the research group activities by designing and operating a flow reactor for the investigation of complex gas-phase reactions. Consolidated the research group expertise by setting up and maintaining gas chromatography devices. Carried on the nanomaterial group activities by producing and characterizing (TEM, Emission spectrum) up-convertor nanophosphors within a joined effort between academic institutions and industrial partners. Supervised and mentors PhD students. Coordinated an inter-institution work effort leading to the publication of joint research papers. Communicated results at national and international conferences.
2009-2010，Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, Orléans, France，POST-DOCTORATE ASSOCIATE Designed kinetic models for the oxidation of alternative jet-fuels as part of the Alfa-Bird research effort funded by the European Union. Investigated experimentally the combustion of synthetic fuels in conditions relevant to gas turbine applications. Supervised PhD students.
2008-2009，Université d’Orléans, France，TEACHING ASSISTANT Taught general chemistry to biology and chemistry-major freshmen students. Involved in the evaluation of mid-term and final exams. Helped to the preparation of chemistry practical. Research: examined experimentally and numerically the combustion of biofuels (biodiesel and alcohols).
2005-2008，Laboratoire de PhysicoChimie des Processus de Combustion et de l’Atmopshère (PC2A), Université des Sciences et Techniques de Lille, France, Institut de Combustion, Aérothermie, Réactivité et Environnement (ICARE), Orléans, France，PHD CANDIDATE Explored the oxidative properties of diesel fuel surrogates for potential application to new engine technologies. Wrote a thoroughly validated kinetic model of a diesel surrogate to be implemented in industrial 3D calculation codes. Disclosed through written and oral biannual reports research progress to industrial collaborators.
2004-2005，Laboratoire de Physico-Chimie de la Combustion et de l’Atmopshère (PC2A), Université des Sciences et Techniques de Lille, France，INTERN Studied the influence of multiphasic chemistry on the evolution of air pollutants by measuring the uptake kinetics and the partition equilibrium of oxygenated organic volatile compounds with a wetted-wall flow reactor.
2003-2003，SOTRENOR, Courrières, France，INTERN Worked in a time-constrained environment within a team dedicated to the physical and chemical characterization of waste samples to optimize the incinerator furnace efficiency and prevent pollutant formation.
