On October 16th and 19th, local time, the SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology held International Young Scholars Exchange Meetings in France and Germany. Zheng Cheng, Deputy Director of the Admissions Office of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhang Wenming, Chinese Dean of SJTU Paris Elite Institute of Technology, and Lu Jialiang, Vice Dean, attended. Over 40 young scholars from École Polytechnique, Sorbonne University, and Technical University of Munich participated.
The Sino-French International Forum for Young Scholars is an academic event organized by SJTU and hosted by SJTU Paris Institute of Technology (SPEIT), aimed at outstanding young scholars from around the world. The forum seeks to provide a platform for communication and collaboration through academic presentations, in-depth discussions, and various other formats. SPEIT will also utilize this forum to present its talent policy and recruit faculty members!

About SPEIT
To respond to the call for implementing the Plan for the Education and Development of Excellent Engineers, a project of major reform set forth in the Outline of China’s National Plan for Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development (2010-2020), and to prepare elite engineers for social development in the future, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) co-established the SJTU ParisTech Elite Institute of Technology with the French ParisTech in 2012 after obtaining approval from China’s Ministry of Education (MoE).
